Community
The help is where the engineers are
An in-app forum is on the roadmap. Until it is built properly - with moderation and search that actually work - the community lives on Discord where conversations already happen.
EthernetQuest Discord
Channels: #ccna, #labs-help, #cybersecurity, #career-advice, #job-leads, #study-groups
#labs-help
Stuck on a trunk that will not come up? Paste your show output and someone will read it with you.
#study-groups
Pair up for accountability. Daily check-ins beat lonely marathons.
#job-leads
Entry-level network and SOC roles shared by members, with honest notes about the employer.
#career-advice
CV reviews, interview questions and salary conversations, without the gatekeeping.
House rules
- No exam dumps, leaked questions or "actual exam" recollections. Posts like that are removed and the account is banned.
- Answer questions with reasoning, not just answers. Teaching is how you find out whether you actually understand it.
- No recruiting spam. Job posts must name the role, the location and whether it is remote.
- Be direct and be kind. People arrive here from very different starting points.
In-app community
A built-in forum with per-lesson discussion, bookmarks and moderation tools is planned for a later release - after the learning, lab and mock-exam loop is excellent. We would rather have no forum than a dead one.
